이날 행사는 식전 공연을 시작으로 현판 제막과 개청 기념 테이프 커팅, 경과보고, 기념사 및 축사, 축하 떡 절단, 신청사 시설 관람 순으로 진행됐다. 참석자들은 새롭게 조성된 청사 곳곳을 둘러보며 주민 중심 행정공간의 새로운 출발을 함께 축하했다.
