이번 캠페인에는 이민수 양평경찰서장을 비롯해 교통·여성청소년 경찰관, 양평교육지원청, 양평초등학교 교직원, 경우회, 모범운전자회 등 50여 명이 참여해 등교하는 학생들의 안전한 통학 환경 조성에 힘을 모았다.

 

참석자들은 학생들에게 홍보물을 배부하며 안전보행 3원칙인 '서다·보다·걷다'를 알리고, 어린이보호구역 내 안전수칙과 학교폭력 예방의 중요성을 안내했다. 어린이들이 스스로 안전한 보행 습관을 익힐 수 있도록 눈높이에 맞춘 홍보도 함께 진행됐다.
