(브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=세계 19개국 연사가 참여한 제27회 세계 한국어 웅변대회가 지난 4일 싱가포르 국립대학교(NUS)에서 개최됐다.

주싱가포르 대한민국대사관(대사 최훈), 한국스피치웅변협회(회장 김경석), 싱가포르 국립대학교(총장 Tan Eng Chye)가 공동 주최한 이번 대회는 한국을 비롯해 싱가포르, 중국, 호주, 인도네시아 등 19개국에서 예선을 거쳐 선발된 개인 47명과 단체 8팀이 참가해 실력을 겨뤘다.

참가자들이 한국어 소통과 세계 평화를 주제로 발표한 가운데 경기도 대표연사로 선발된 대한민국 단체부 '아이들과 엄마들'(정민규-심석초4,이승율-심석초3,정지원-심석초2,이서율-심석초1,최시우-다산가람초6,김태연-어람초3)(박효정,안목화,장미훈,손정자) 이 참가해 단체부 최우수상(부총리겸 교육부장관상)을 거머쥐는 쾌거를 이뤘다.

이날 단체부에 출전한 심석초3 이승율군은 식전문화행사에 트롯가수의 남진의 '이력서'와 한국스피치웅변협회 김경석 회장이 작사.작곡한 '대한민국'을 불러 참석자들로 부터 박수갈채를 받았다.

또한 대통령상은 일반부 편사범 씨가 차지했고, 6·25 전쟁 당시 유엔 연합군으로 참전한 에티오피아 가브리예수스 미카엘 대령의 손녀인 합테마리암이 나다움 군과 함께 국무총리상을 받았다.
