(중랑=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=중랑구(구청장 류경기)가 지난해 3월부터 가톨릭대학교 예방의학교실, 질병관리청과 함께 펼치고 있는 ‘고위험음주 및 음주폐해 예방 사업’을 위한 ‘노마드(NoMAD, No More Alcohol to the Drunken)’ 프로젝트의 일환으로 국내에서는 처음으로 지역주민의 고위험 음주예방을 위한 모바일 프로그램인 ‘모바일 Go! 셀프’를 론칭한다고 밝혔다.

 

이번에 중랑구에서 실시하는 중랑구민을 위한 고위험 음주예방 모바일 프로그램인 ‘모바일 Go! 셀프’는 웹플랫폼 기반으로 음주 습관 변화를 스스로 체크하고 확인할 수 있다.

 

‘모바일 Go! 셀프’에서는 고위험 음주자가 자신의 음주상황 및 행동에 관한 설문에 첫 응답 후 4주차, 8주차 등 총 3차례에 걸쳐 직접 평가해 개인의 음주행동 및 문제 등에 대한 맞춤형 정보를 제공받고, 음주량 감소를 위해 변화목표를 세워 음주 변화 추이를 확인해 고위험음주를 감소시키고 건강하고 안전한 음주습관을 유도할 수 있도록 구성됐다.

 

특히 이번 프로그램은 가톨릭대학교 조선진, 이해국 교수 연구팀에서 한국인을 대상으로 한 무작위배정 비교 임상시험 결과, 프로그램 참여자의 알코올 섭취량, 평소 음주 시 폭음, AUDIT-C(선별검사) 총점을 감소시키는 데에 효과가 입증돼 권위있는 미국알코올연구학회 공식 기관지인 ACER(Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research) 2019년 제43권 10호에 보고된 바 있다.

 

이처럼 효과가 입증된 모바일 고위험음주 자가관리 프로그램을 구 전체에 도입하기로 결정한 김무영 중랑구보건소장은 “국내에서는 처음으로 시도하는 프로그램으로 참가자들 스스로가 자신의 음주상태를 파악하고 관리할 수 있도록 관련된 종합 결과를 제공해 참가자들이 스스로 변화를 이뤄낼 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.”라며 “노마드 프로젝트 2년차에 다양한 근거기반의 지역사회 프로그램을 시행해 중랑구의 음주관련 문제 예방을 위해 노력해 나가겠다.”고 전했다.
