(남양주=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=남양주시(시장 조광한)는 17일 소상공인지원위원회를 열고 이웃사촌상인회 지원 조례 세부 사업, 특례 보증 예산 증액과 이자 차액 보전 기간 연장, 경영환경개선사업 예산 증액 등의 안건을 심사했다.

 

지난 2월 전국 최초로 제정된 이웃사촌상인회 지원 조례는 상인회 지원을 기존 등록 상인회에서 읍·면·동 단위의 상인 단체로 확대한다는 내용을 담고 있으며, 지역 균형을 고려해 소상공인을 지원할 수 있는 계기가 됐다. 조례로 정한 일정 기준을 충족한 상인 단체는 이웃사촌상인회로 지정돼 시설 환경 개선, 마케팅, 컨설팅 등 단체당 최대 1천만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다.

 

또한, 시는 소상공인 특례 보증 출연금 예산을 전년 대비 5억 원이 증가된 20억 원으로 편성해 경기신용보증재단을 통한 총 대출금 규모를 200억 원으로 늘렸으며, 대출 이자 차액 예산은 지난해 대비 8천만 원 증액된 3억 4천만 원으로 편성했다. 보전 기간은 기존 3년에서 5년으로 2년 연장돼 3천만 원 대출 시 이자를 1백만 원 정도 추가로 지원받을 수 있게 됐다.

 

점포별 맞춤형 컨설팅을 통해 업체당 최대 1천만 원까지 지원하는 소상공인 경영환경지원사업 예산도 전년 대비 1억 5천만 원 증액된 4억 원이 편성됐다. 2022년 공모 사업을 추진한 결과 60개 업체에 총 3억 2천만 원이 지원될 예정이며, 지난해 47개 업체에 2억 2천만 원이 지원됐던 것에 비해 지원 대상과 규모가 크게 확대됐다.

 

남양주시 유형식 소상공인과장은 “소상공인들이 코로나19 이후 일상을 회복하는 데 도움이 될 수 있도록 시에서 추진하는 소상공인 지원 사업의 지원 대상을 넓히고 지원 규모는 확대하려고 노력했다.”라며 “앞으로도 상인회, 상인 단체 등과 지속적으로 소통하며 소상공인 경영 안정화와 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 신규 사업 발굴 등에 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
