(중랑=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=중랑구(구청장 류경기)가 중랑창업지원센터의 거점 역할을 할 중랑창업플랫폼 입주 기업 26곳을 최종 선발하고 유망 창업 기업을 본격적으로 육성한다.

신내3지구 지식산업2센터(중랑구 신내역로 111, 신내SK V1센터 6층)에 위치한 중랑창업플랫폼(별칭)은 맞은편 부지에 오는 25년 추가로 건립하게 될 본원인 중랑창업지원센터(신내동 195-1)의 마중물 역할을 수행하게 된다.

지난달 입주기업을 모집한 결과 중랑구를 비롯해 서울 전역에서 90여 개의 창업 기업이 입주를 신청했고 구는 창업자의 역량과 성장 가능성 등을 다각도로 평가해 4차 산업 신기술 분야 26개 유망 입주기업을 선정했다. 입주는 다음 달까지 완료될 예정이다.

중랑창업플랫폼은 기존 공간 제공으로 국한됐던 창업지원에서 벗어나 창업 성장을 위한 각종 교육 프로그램 운영과 투자 지원 등 체계적이고 종합적인 성장을 지원한다. 구는 이러한 전문 시스템 구축을 위해 지난 12월 말 성균관대학교 글로벌창업대학원과 ㈜킹고스프링과 함께 업무 협약을 체결한 바 있다.

먼저 입주기업의 성장을 위해 창업 및 기업 성장 프로그램과 비학위과정을 운영하고 각 기업별로 맞춤형 일대일 멘토링, 컨설팅을 실시한다. 또한 초기 창업 기업의 자금 지원을 위해 구가 직접 중랑창업지원펀드를 조성해 유망 기업에 직접 투자하고 각종 창업 지원 프로그램 연계와 공모 선정을 지원할 예정이다.

이에 더해 성장 기업의 판로개척을 위한 투자설명회와 데모데이 등 기업 홍보와 투자유치를 위한 각종 정기행사를 개최하고 산학연관 협업 체계도 구축해 창업생태계 네트워크망 확충에 나선다.

류경기 중랑구청장은 “중랑창업플랫폼은 향후 건립될 중랑창업지원센터와 함께 신내IC 첨단 산업 클러스터 조성 사업의 큰 축을 담당하게 될 것”이라며, “지속적으로 창업생태계를 활성화해 일자리 창출은 물론 지역경제 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
